Your card feed sees a total.
Lynitem sees every line.
Lynitem connects the point where a product is sold to the business that bought it. Merchants publish verified, itemized digital receipts; your team claims them with one scan — and every product, quantity, tax, and discount arrives ready for policy, matching, and accounting.
How it works
A receipt is a bearer document; the payment is the identity backbone. Lynitem treats both with the respect your auditors do.
Merchant publishes
The point of sale publishes an exact, immutable snapshot of the sale — every line, tax, discount, and tender in integer cents — through an idempotent API.
Buyer scans and claims
One QR scan claims the receipt into your business workspace. Single-use tokens, hash-only storage, and audited claims — the QR never grants more than the paper shows.
Exact lines, not guesses
No OCR, no approximation. What the merchant recorded is what your team sees — with provenance labeled on every document.
Returns stay linked
Refunds and exchanges reference the original lines forever. Matching, spend policy, and draft double-entry accounting are built on that lineage.
For merchants and platforms
Lynitem is vendor-neutral receipt infrastructure — not a POS. Any point of sale, e-commerce platform, or ERP can publish through the same public API and certification suite.
One idempotent API
Publish a receipt in one call. Retries are safe by design; totals must reconcile to the cent or the receipt is rejected with a precise, machine-readable error.
Nothing sensitive leaves the store
No card numbers, no claim secrets at rest — only tokenized references and hashes. A Lynitem outage can never block a sale: publication is asynchronous by contract.
Give customers a reason
Business customers pick suppliers whose receipts file themselves. Verified digital receipts make your store the easiest line on their P&L.
Built like audit infrastructure
Because it is: append-only documents, immutable source snapshots, row-level security on every table, and an audit log no one — not even us — can edit.
